ABOUT ME
I'm Brian Hooks. I'm a creative with over a decade of professional experience in news publishing, commercial videography and fashion photography.
As Post-Production Manager at South Moon Under, I coordinated retouching for digital and print assets and produced editorial videos for monthly campaigns. In a leadership role, I also assigned freelancers, hired assistants and mentored interns.
As a professional journalist, I managed multiple news websites, writing stories on deadline, producing video packages, hosting community blogs and editing freelancer content. I interviewed people from all walks of life—from artists to pro athletes, politicians to refugees.
I am a fellow of the Carnegie-Knight News21 initiative, alumnus of the Salzburg Media Academy and graduate of the University of Maryland College of Journalism. Go Terps!
